Kappa Delta
For more than 20 years, the Kappa Delta Foundation has supported the
bright futures and college dreams of Girl Scouts across the country by
providing scholarships annually in recognition of Gold Award Girl
Scouts. This year, the foundation’s annual contribution of $50,400
will support scholarships for 111 world-changing Gold Award Girl
Scouts across our Movement who contributed about 11,000 hours toward
creating long-term solutions to issues they’re passionate about—from
combatting food insecurity and destigmatizing conversations about
mental health to podcasting about climate change. This support will
help these incredible young leaders kick-start their futures, achieve
their goals, and continue to make the world a better place. Honorees
are selected through a rigorous local review process that evaluates
their efforts to improve their communities and drive lasting change in
the world.
The Kappa Delta Foundation is the charitable arm of the Kappa Delta Sorority, an organization that has been a vital partner to Girl Scouts of the USA since 1998. Kappa Delta members serve as volunteers, guiding and mentoring Girl Scouts across the country on their leadership journeys, and reinforcing the importance of integrity and friendship. In addition to providing GSUSA with critical volunteer support, Kappa Delta chapters host confidence-building and anti-bullying events, International Girls Day celebrations, and other empowering activities for girls in their communities. Girl Scouts who take part in Kappa Delta-sponsored events are eligible to earn a special Kappa Delta participation patch.

organization for women with more than 277,000 members, 168 active
collegiate chapters, and 219 active alumnae chapters nationwide. Kappa
Delta offers support for leadership development, personal growth,
academic success, and community service, all in the context of true

endeavors, including the prevention of child abuse and
confidence-building programming with Girl Scouts of the USA. In 2010,
Kappa Delta established International Girls Day to empower girls to
