Arconic Foundation continues to support Girl Scouts as they make the world a better place.
Over the next two years, Arconic Foundation will contribute to three Girl Scout councils’ local STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) programs. Leveraging Girl Scouts’ existing STEM badges and journeys, Girl Scout councils and Arconic Foundation will work together to encourage more girls to participate in STEM education. These education programs will include hands-on experiences in fields such as Car Design, Computer Engineering, and STEM in the Outdoors. Girl Scouts who attend the programs will also have the opportunity to learn from Arconic volunteers who will contribute as facilitators at the events.
With the continued generosity of Arconic Foundation, GSUSA can continue to support the Girl Scout STEM programming that provides Girl Scouts with competence, confidence, and an increased interest in STEM. For several years, Arconic Foundation has partnered with Girl Scouts of the USA on various programs, including providing scholarships for Gold Award Girl Scouts.
