Heroes on the Horizon encourages girls to ask customers/businesses to donate as little as $6 so cookies can find their way to military organizations, first responders and other local heroes throughout GSDH.

What a sweet deal! Encourage customers to buy one box of cookies for themselves and another to give - through the Heroes on the Horizon program. Amp up your Heroes on the Horizon contributions by using this box wrap. Printed copies will also be available in our Council Cookie Cupboards.

GSDH facilitates the delivery of cookies purchased through the Heroes on the Horizon program with organizations such a VA Hospitals, military outreach clinics, Feeding America/Backpack Program and several first responders throughout the council.

All Heroes on the Horizon donations count towards girl rewards and troop proceeds.

Record, Share & Win

Digital Cookie is a GSUSA-approved platform that lets girls sell cookies both in person and online. When Girl Scouts use Digital Cookie and share a personalized video, their customers tend to buy even more cookies!

  1. Record a Video
Show your personality, talk about your favorite cookies, and let buyers see you in action.
  2. Share Video
Share your video on social media and tag Girl Scouts Dakota Horizons (@gsdakotahorizons) during the cookie program! The more people see your video, the more chances you have to reach new customers, hit your goals, and have fun while selling cookies!
  3. Win
You have a chance to win a pack of Girl Scout Exploremores Fun Dough every time you tag @gsdakotahorizons in your videos throughout the cookie program.
