Today’s girls are ready for fun and meaningful experiences that will help them learn more about themselves and how to make the world a better place.
From mental wellness to protecting the planet, caring for animals to enjoying the outdoors, and much more, these new and updated hands-on activities address topics girls care about. All while enhancing their social-emotional skills, introducing them to important topics like financial literacy, and getting them started exploring STEM professions. Each one is presented in an easy-to-follow format so any adult can jump in and help.

Daisy Handbook and Petal Badges
Daisies can get started with the newly updated Daisy Handbook, which includes step-by-step instructions to earn Daisy petal badges, and a volunteer guide—all conveniently bundled into one easy-to-use resource helping girls and adults navigate the first two years as a Girl Scout. The updated Daisy petals are easier than ever, following the three-step/two-choice badge format with more tips on celebrating differences, standing up for what is right, making others feel included, having fun, making friends, and validating feelings. The volunteer guide helps adults navigate the first two years of Girl Scouts with ease.
Brownie Pets Badge
This newly updated Pets badge teaches Brownies the essentials of caring for and keeping pets healthy and safe. It also includes fun new tips on wild animals and managing pets outdoors.
Financial Literacy Badges
Girl Scouts will gain control of their financial future with the newly updated Financial Literacy badges for all grade levels. Girl Scouts of all ages will get a head start on forming healthy financial habits and understanding the importance of budgeting, investing, and borrowing money, setting them up for future financial success. Check out these financial literacy activities for kids in kindergarten–1st grade, grades 2–3, grades 4–5, grades 6–8, grades 9–10, and grades 11–12 to start exploring.
STEM Career Exploration Badges
Daisies, Seniors, and Ambassadors will reach for the stars or delve into the depths of the ocean with new STEM career exploration badges. These three badges complete the existing STEM career exploration badges to inspire girls from all grade levels. When earning these badges, Girl Scouts will imagine a future where they can make discoveries and are part of science-based solutions to real-life problems. Global Action and World Thinking Day Awards
Explore the world, make international connections, and celebrate global sisterhood through these two multi-level friendly awards. From climate action to gender equality, Girl Scouts will identify issues close to their hearts, connect with others who share their passions, and learn how to raise awareness and create change for a better world.
110th Anniversary
Dreaming big and doing good is what Girl Scouts have done for 110 years. From climbing mountains to stocking the local food pantry, they help make the world a better place. Celebrate 110 years of Girl Scouts by completing a range of fun, engaging activities. Then, get your limited-edition anniversary patch!
Climate Challenge
Girl Scouts aren’t afraid of a challenge. They’re ready to get outdoors to learn about climate science, connect with their communities to understand how they're impacted by climate change, and spread awareness of the issue to create sustainable change. The Climate Challenge includes easy-to-follow activities that connect the science of climate with other spheres of life, such as civil society and outdoor adventures. These activities, designed for youth in all grade levels, also include citizen science projects curated by SciStarter.org, an online citizen science hub with more than 3,000 research projects that citizens can participate in.
Girl Scouts Love the Outdoors
Girl Scouts have so many ways to explore their world—the sidewalk, a campsite ,the backyard, or an open trail. Girl Scouts can complete fun activities, based on grade level, to earn an awesome new patch. The challenge ends with Girl Scouts Love State Parks Weekend.

Girl Scouts nationwide, along with their troops, friends, and families, can celebrate our shared love of the outdoors during the Girl Scouts Love States Parks Weekend. Grab a backpack and head out to local state parks for self-guided tours, family hikes, watersports, stargazing, and special events. Girl Scout Tree Promise
Be part of a bold tree planting and conservation initiative. Find free trees, plant a tree, and track our collective progress! Girl Scouts across the country are setting out to plant 5 million trees in five years, and pledging to protect and honor new and existing trees. Not only is this great for wildlife, it will also help ease the effects of climate change.
