Activity:
An emergency is when something serious like a fire or a car accident happens or when someone gets hurt or sick and can’t get help for themselves. Find out more about how to handle an emergency in this activity.
Role-play 911. Ask an adult to write different emergency situations on slips of paper and put them in a jar. Pull a piece of paper from the jar and role-play a call to 911 based on the information on the paper. If you have siblings at home, they can join you and take turns. Keep going until you’ve practiced several different emergencies.
Troop Leaders: The instructions for all badge steps are available free of charge in the Girl Scout Volunteer Toolkit.
Girl Scout Activity Zone activities have been adapted from existing Girl Scout programming.
