About the Trip
Explore Maine’s dramatic shoreline as you hike trails that are the highest along the U.S. Atlantic coast. You will camp in the crown jewel of the North Atlantic, Acadia National Park. While there, you’ll visit Bar Harbor, the gateway to Acadia National Park and a destination for visitors worldwide.
Then you’ll head to the North Maine Woods as you set out on the challenging northern point of the Appalachian Trail in Baxter State Park. You and other Girl Scouts will wrap up your hiking adventure by summiting Maine’s tallest mountain, the majestic Mount Katahdin.
