About the Trip
This Destination is designed for Girl Scouts who love horses! Girl Scouts will arrive on Sunday and enjoy two riding sessions per day, along with two ground lessons where you will learn essential trail riding knowledge, such as how to pack for longer trips on horseback, equine first aid, etc.
Girl Scouts will plan for and pack for a lunch pack-out trail ride. You and other Girl Scouts will also spend a night out in the beautiful Chattahoochee National Forest for a campout trail ride, where you will set up camp, cook out over a fire, and sleep under the stars! Evening group activities include swimming, hiking, campfires, and movie nights.
Additional activities may be included, such as riflery, challenge tower/ziplining, archery, and boating.
