Gain some college knowledge and jump-start your future while traveling to colleges across Texas and Louisiana with other Girl Scouts.

About the Trip

Through this hands-on Destination, you will get a detailed look into college admissions, prepare for the college-application process, and learn how to choose the right candidate schools for you. We will visit a variety of college and university campuses, speak to admissions officers and recruitment specialists to prepare for the application process, earn badges, and much more. The trip will also include a look at next steps after college acceptance, including financial aid and paying for college, choosing a major, and experiencing college life!

This Destination is for all Girl Scouts who want to start planning for education beyond high school. Whether or not you plan to attend college in Texas, the skills and knowledge you’ll gain on this trip can be applied to the application process for any U.S. college!
